It started many years ago. Vague sounds and obscure beats bouncing out over the local countryside. As the years moved on, new sounds were added to the rhythms – sublime strings and ethereal harmonies joined the flow. Over time this weird phenomenon became known as ‘Means of Escape’ due to a small green sticker found in the vicinity.

Means of Escape blend electronic and organic instrumentation from their rural hangout in Suffolk, UK. From bass driven dub influences to soulful lyrical songs, via trip hop flavours,  this will have you nodding to the beat into the small hours. Using field recordings and old radio plays, along side catchy guitar and synth riffs, they give you a truly unique sound full of depth, heart and soul.

Means of Escape are Stu Valentine, Neil Seggar and Gareth Knight.

The debut album, Escapism is out now.
